YEAN partner farmers visit the Rwanda-Israel Horticulture Center of Excellence

Under the project of Maintaining and operationalizing irrigated schemes in #Kamonyi, #Ruhango and #Kamonyi, we organized a study visit for our partner farmers from various irrigated schemes to the Horticulture Center of Excellence. This visit aimed to provide the #farmers with hands-on experience and knowledge of innovative irrigation techniques, advanced agriculture practices, and sustainable farming methods. The farmers were introduced to modern technologies in crop management, including pest control, soil health management, and high-yield crop varieties and management of irrigation infrastructures. #farming #agricultureeducation
