Welcome back! In this video I'm showing you my latest pages. Some of those are very abstract, there’s a page on which I used paper only, an assignment of my weekly art journal session. I’ll be sharing with you the results of my students too. And finally I’ll be showing my Mini Book of Success; a celebration to all my creative highlights from 2023! In one of my previous videos I showed you my brand new paintings, and these colours I’ve got straight out of this art journal. On my pages you see many blue colours and some pink tones… At the moment, I am not sure whether they’re finished or not. Just paper After the abstract pages, you can see a page where I just used paper. My students and I just a little paint for the background of the spread. After that I handed them some materials to work with: kitchen towel, various kinds of Kraft paper, silk paper and… the dutch tax envelopes! The colour scheme was just blue and brown. The assignment was to create something out of all these papers. Many students create landscapes or abstract pages. It was great to do this, so I can really recommend this. In the future I will share with you some tips how to use paper in your art journal or mixed media project. I created a flower scene.
