American Bandstand Dance Contest - 1967
The kids compete for fabulous prizes to Neil Diamond’s, You Got To Me. Couple #1 - Norm Mull & DeeDee DelCampos and Couple #4 - Stan Soburn & Marcia Silverman were chosen to advance to the finals this week. Also competing this week is couple #3 - Jeff Hight & Karen Sudlow (pictured in thumbnail). According to AB regular Don Sanuskar (dancer don, thanks Don!) Frank Vanderpuil and Judy Michaud won this swing dance contest.(they did not compete in this episode) You can see the winners in my “AB 1967 Swing Dance Contest Winners” clip posted in March, 2018.
