MATCHBOX Restoration Y4 Sentinel Steam Waggon 1956

This little model of a 'Sentinel Steam Waggon' is a little beauty ! Made around 1956 to 1960, it has an amazing amount of detail built into it for such a small toy. In it's day, the Sentinel Steam Waggon was a powerful work horse with a top speed of nearly 100 kph and a load capacity of 7 tons! The word 'Waggon' is an old English word with the same meaning of the modern day word 'Wagon'. They both mean, "a vehicle used for transporting goods or another specified purpose". The older word, with two 'G's is slowly dissapearing from our modern day language.
