Reformed Community: So Steve Lawson is an Unrepentant, Unsaved, Wolf Correct? I have many questions!

#stevelawson For clarity, let me say, When I say, (Reformed Community) I acknowledge not all Reformed believers are of the John MacArthur camp or associated with G3 ministries etc. I'm aware of that, so be aware I am NOT accusing all reformed believers of this. However, when I say, Reformed Community, I do feel the Steve Lawson scandal brings up some questions regarding your theology and how it is applied to said situation, hence, that is why I address it to all, blessings, and thank you. Steve Lawson is Extremely hypocritical especially when he preaches on holiness 2. So, based upon Reformed standards: Steve Lawson is an unsaved, unrepentant, false teaching, wolf, correct? If not, then don’t you have to take back some of your comments about wolves then? 3. If he is a wolf? Why was he allowed in people’s pulpits? 4. Where was the discernment? a. However, we all miss it, no harm no foul, we all get duped from time to time, my point, however, is to admit that and… b. Give more grace for others who’ve been duped as well 5. Al Mohler said he doesn’t have a meter, discernment for this, so who does? 6. I’m not blaming anyone for Steve Lawson’s sins, he has to answer for that, however, there is a discussion here where we have to ask: Once a person becomes a pastor is there any way to ensure they maintain holiness instead of making them a pastor and them leaving them alone and we don’t find out something bad happens until it’s too late? 7. Al Mohler said he didn’t see it coming but I did because of Steve Lawson’s pride behind the pulpit. 8. Orthodoxy vs. Orthopraxy a. If a preacher doesn’t live it, is he any different from say, a Joel Osteen? What’s the difference?
