Women in Russian Captivity: Confinement, Uncertainty and Trauma

At the moment, there are 2.5 thousand Ukrainians in Russian captivity, of whom around 130 are women. We spoke to the relatives of three such women, and got an insight into the terrifying uncertainty and fear they’ve experienced while waiting for the return of their loved ones. We also got a rare insight into the horrifying conditions these women are held in by Russian Forces, and the trauma they’ve experienced in prison, in occupied territory and on the front.
