The longest and most modern overpass in Central America is the Carretera Norte - Pista Héroes de la Insurrección Overpass (also known as La Robelo), recently inaugurated in Managua, Nicaragua. This engineering work, part of the expansion of the Pista Héroes de la Insurrección, has two levels of traffic, eight lanes in total, an anti-seismic design, LED lighting, and modern signage, designed to streamline traffic and improve road safety in the Nicaraguan capital. Notable Features: Technology and Design: It was built with anti-seismic standards and features LED lighting and modern signage to improve traffic safety and efficiency. Capacity: It has the capacity to move up to 70,000 vehicles daily and is designed to handle heavy traffic. Strategic Location: Its location in La Robelo, at the northern end of Managua's highway corridor, connects the Carretera Norte, the city center, and the western part of the country.
