Paragliding in France - Going to Dune du Pilat

Dune du Pilat has been on my flying wish list for a long time — and now I finally got to play around in the sand. This flight was on the lee side of the dune, so not the classic postcard version of Pilat flying, but still an amazing place to be in the air. Sand everywhere, Atlantic light, friends around, and that special feeling when the wing just wants to keep floating just above the ground. I managed some little footdrags in the sand, with slippers on, because apparently that is my level of French elegance. 😂 There was also a small micro-twist in the brake lines, but on this wing it was no drama at all. Just one of those tiny details you notice, fix in your head, and keep enjoying the flight. Wind, sand, smiles, slippers, and a very happy pilot.
