We Are Selling Everything We Own. Here's What That Actually Looks Like.

Part 2 (of 6) Everyone talks about the freedom of letting go. Nobody really talks about what letting go actually involves. In this video we do. We are in the process of selling the entire contents of our home. Everything. Furniture, clothes, ornaments, kitchen equipment, tools, books, if it isn't coming with us in the van or going into storage, it is going. And the process of making that happen is one of the most time consuming, relentless and unexpectedly emotional things we have ever done. We are listing across five platforms simultaneously. Vinted. eBay. Facebook Marketplace. Gumtree. And car boot sales at the weekend. Every single item has its own process... photograph it, measure it, write the listing, post it across multiple platforms, answer the messages, arrange the collection, package it up, hand it over. And then start again with the next one. We set ourselves a target of eight to ten items listed every single day. Which sounds manageable until you are also converting a van, running three businesses, navigating blended family life, and trying to figure out where you are going to live. In this video we walk you through what this process actually looks like from the inside. The hidden workload. The unexpected emotions of watching your life leave in carrier bags and borrowed cars. The things we thought would be easy that weren't. And the things that have genuinely surprised us. Because minimising your possessions sounds simple from the outside. From the inside it is a full time job.
