Meet Our Van - The Beginning Of Van Life and Off-Grid Living (We Hope)

She's blue. She's a Mercedes Sprinter. This is the video where it all gets a little more real. We've been talking about van life for weeks now. We've made lists, had conversations, viewed vans -changed our minds, and gone round in circles. And then one day we drove to pick up a van and suddenly it stopped being a plan and started being a life. In this video we take you along for the day, the drive to collect her, that first proper look, and a tour of what we're working with right now. There's a bed. There are cupboards. There's solar and electrics already in. There's also quite a lot of work still to do. We give you a few hints at what we're planning ...but mostly this is just us introducing you to the newest, most significant member of the Leaving the System family. She's not finished yet. But then neither are we!! If you're new here, we're Kim and Lee, and we've sold our house with no fixed plan and no destination. This van is the closest thing we have to a home right now.
