Steam Loco Kit- Video #7 Electronics and Wrap-up
This video shows the installation of the electronics (DCC sound decoder, speaker, Current Keeper, headlight, backup light, and loco-to-tender disconnect) and the final wrap-up items on the Bowser 0-4-0 kit build. Disappointingly, I was unable to get smooth running under load, and concluded that an enclosed gearbox will be needed at some future point when I can get to it. But for now, the six-month basic assembly project has finally been completed.
