Data-driven digital tools for communication and growth: Mònika Alíz Mészáros, STRIA Nonprofit Ltd.

As part of the DanubeDNA project, a webinar was held on 20 April 2026 under the title “Data-driven digital tools for communication and growth”. One of the presentations, delivered by Mónika Alíz Mészáros from STRIA Nonprofit Ltd., focused on data-driven marketing and how SMEs can use data to better understand customers, improve communication, and support business decision-making. Key Highlights: ________________________________________ Data-driven Marketing ________________________________________ Mónika Alíz Mészáros from STRIA Nonprofit Ltd. presented how SMEs can use data to better understand customers, improve communication, and support business growth. She introduced simple indicators such as website traffic, visitor behaviour, orders, subscribers, keywords, and engagement rates. ________________________________________ The presentation emphasized that data is useful only when companies draw conclusions from it and take action. By analysing data, SMEs can improve website content, understand customer needs, support marketing activities, and make more informed decisions. She also briefly introduced the role of AI in marketing, especially for content creation, targeting, and saving time, while stressing that AI tools require clear input and marketing thinking. The DanubeDNA project supports small and medium-sized enterprises in the Danube Region in their digital transformation by developing practical digital tools, testing solutions in real business environments, and transferring knowledge through webinars and training activities. The project focuses on strengthening SME competitiveness, supporting industrial transformation, improving data-driven decision-making, and encouraging the transition towards Industry 4.0. The Croatian consortium partner in the project is TERA Tehnopolis d.o.o. This project is supported by the Interreg Danube Region Programme, co-financed by the European Union.
