So, the Alaskan Way Viaduct ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaskan... ) was a huge concrete monstrosity that wrecked views of Seattle's Elliott Bay, was ugly, and was the source of a huge chunk of downtown's noise pollution for decades. The cleverly named SR 99 Tunnel ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State_R... ) replaced it and instead of a Viaduct, we got a long park. I think this was s good idea. Enjoy!
