Uniontown, Alabama, is one of those poor communities struggling under air pollution. Uniontown is a predominantly Black community. Cory Booker visited Uniontown and spoke to residents in the African American community about the landfill that is polluting their air. Coal ash is being dumped in Uniontown, including some from a coal ash spill in Harriman Tennessee. Harriman is 90% white.
