RCA SLD65A55RQ Picture/Backlight Flashing ON/OFF television repair

We have a 65 inch television made by RCA in which the picture or a "no signal" message will flash on and off on the screen approx. every 5 seconds. This is caused by a premature backlight failure due to an open led behind the lcd panel. Because this particular RCA Led television model SLD65A55RQ is new to me, I will attempt to show you the repair process in real time, only to learn at the end that there was a much easier and faster way to disassemble this television to complete the repair.
