Route 66 - Chicago | Solo RV Travel and Adventure GPS

I embark on a road trip across all of US Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica, California. 2026 is the centennial year for the US Route system, making Route 66 100 years old. In Chicago, I explore the first mile of the route through the city, visiting some of the historic landmarks directly on the side of the road, including Chicago's oldest restaurant, The Berghoff, and the Willis Tower, where we view the amazing Chicago skyline, and see Route 66 disappear into the horizon as it begins the journey west.
