A look into the amazing world of Honey Bees
Having found a wild Honey Bee colony living in the tree trunk of a large Beech tree i was able to put the camera into the crevice of the tree trunk and see the comb produced by the bees over many years. Last year my neighbour set up a bee hive and over wintered the colony in an insulated hive called a poly nucleus. Her Bee mentor thought it was now time to move the colony into a permanent wooden hive. At the weekend she invited me round to see the moving of the Bees into their new home. What a fascinating insight to the wonderful world of Bees, they are truly amazing insects.
