Japan Keeps Surprising Us... Even the Vending Machines! | Neilson-Watt Adventures

How we homeschool: https://www.learnspark.io Welcome back to another Neilson-Watt Adventure! Today we took the train from Kutchan into Otaru for a family day exploring one of Hokkaido's most interesting little cities. The boys were immediately distracted by Japanese trading cards, snacks, and all the little things that make Japan so fun to explore with kids. We wandered the streets, checked out Otaru, tried sweet street treats, talked about skiing life in Hokkaido, and somehow even found a vending machine selling beef. It was one of those simple Japan days where nothing huge has to happen because the country itself keeps surprising you. Have you ever seen something unexpected in a vending machine?
