The Goethals Bridge (Interstate 278) carries traffic over the Arthur Kill, connecting western Staten Island with New Jersey. The present-day cable-stayed bridge replaced an aging & obsolete bridge completed in 1928. The new bridge opened to traffic on June 10, 2017; this video was filmed on the morning of June 18, 2017.
