Crossing the new Goethals Bridge in 48 seconds

The new Goethals Bridge with wider lanes and shoulders is finally open for New York-bound traffic. The new Goethals Bridge span will have a total of four 11-foot lanes, two in each direction, plus narrow shoulders, a spokesman from the Port Authority said.
