2 Stage Gear Drives On An Electric Skateboard? (Exway 2 Stage Install)

In today's video, we upgrade my Atlas Pro Gear Drive to the new 2 Stage Gear Drives from Exway! These gears are the first of their kind in a production environment and I'm super excited to put some miles on them! The Atlas Pro gear drive had a great set of helical steel gears on it that I've ridden for a couple hundred miles. They perform great, have good durability, are relatively quiet, and they look cool. They're incredibly heavy and overbuilt though, so cutting the weight tremendously on the new set is a big benefit. I will make sure to do a weight comparison in the full review! These two stage gear drives are very unique and sport the ability to have ratios from 3.1 all the way up to 5.7. This is an incredible range for a set of gears that can support all the way down to a 100mm urethane wheel! I'd love to build a custom setup with these and see how they fair on non-dkp trucks.
