LOST Mario Games only on Nintendo Famicom Disk System - 8bitjoystick

The Nintendo Famicom Disk system is a perfect example of the company being creative, bold and weird at the same time and yet forever lost to the 1980s. What if I were to tell you that there were a whole bunch of games starring Mario that were exclusive to the Famicom disc system that many western gamers have no idea about. Nintendo went hard in promoting the Famicom Disk System. Nintendo actually stopped developing new first party games for Famicom cartridges in Japan from November 1985 until November 1987 while they focused exclusively on pushing the Famicom Disk System. These Mario games were not "lost" lost... just only released in Japan on the FDS and some of them had ridiculous low number print runs.
