Gambia: Das weibliche Pendant zu Pattaya - Warum niemand über weiblichen Sextourismus spricht

When people talk about romance or sex tourism, most immediately think of men in Thailand, Pattaya, or the Philippines. But what happens when the roles are reversed? This documentary focuses on white women who travel to Gambia to meet young men. Some are looking for a holiday romance, others a serious relationship, and some even a future husband. During the interview, we compare the situation to what many are familiar with from Pattaya, Thailand, and other popular tourist destinations. It becomes clear that many behaviors are remarkably similar—regardless of whether the travelers are men or women. With almost nine years of experience in Thailand and over six years in Pattaya, I contextualize the documentary, draw parallels, and explain why certain patterns recur worldwide. Topics covered in the video: • Romance tourism in Gambia • Relationships between female tourists and locals • Parallels to Pattaya and Thailand • Age differences in relationships • Romance or financial motives? • Cultural Differences • Documentary Reaction and Analysis • My Personal Assessment The documentary shows a side of international dating tourism that is discussed far less often than Thailand or Pattaya. What do you think? Is it really something completely different, or are the mechanisms ultimately the same? Share your opinion in the comments. Did you like the video?
