Pursuit has a 1100 kmh head on speed limit max 20-35 km range. This means 1. Turn it on only within 20-35 km, 20 below 3,000m and 35 above. 2. If you turn it on with target over 1100 kmh head on but within IRST range and field of view the IRST will pick up the lock 3. I suggest not to turn it on on supersonic targets until they are flanking. The faster they are wait until the greater angle of the aspect arrow. In a SARH joust, there is no point turning it on when cranking due to IRST 30 degrees azimuth limit, so only really turn it on on a supersonic target when A. Target flanks B. Within IRST FOV (30 degrees side and up) C. Within IRST range Otherwise there is chance on supersonic headon target that both radar and IRST won’t be able to lock when switching to coop and you will lose the target 2nd UPDATE: Also the IFF no longer works apparently For Fox 2 missiles, it seems AB ranges are almost exactly 3x the Mil ranges I show. R-60 is half the seeker range of R-73. So multiply the mil range by 3 to get AB range.
