Reaching 72K words on my YA Christian Fiction Novel | Writing Vlog

Making Fantasies Come True: One Story at a Time… and it is time to work on my novel. So if you guys have not heard, I am an author who is working on her YA Christian Fiction Novel where my main character has some sort of Dissociative Disorder. I am unsure of what exact type of disorder JJ, the character, has for I am not well educated on the difference between DID and OSDD… I also think there might be something called PDID. I am unsure. The way the mind works is intricate and confusing. Which I get, I am someone who also has some sort of Dissociative Disorder and sometimes I feel like I am faking when it comes to things. So who knows. Getting back to the work, the project’s hopeful title is called From Home to Scripture but I refer to it as JJ’s Project. We are in Act 3 and I would say we have reached the second half of Act 3 or the Climax of the story… I am not really sure. I have never been really good at describing where in the story I am at. I think this has something to do with me being a pantser… or someone who writes by the seat of their pants. But that could just be me and my writing style. If you are also a pantser tell me if this is how you are as well. So I wrote Chapter 26 in three days and I spent 4 hours on the project and wrote over 3K works. And in the working document, I have written 72K words… but I will say the first 30K ish words are going to have to be deleted and rewrote since things have changed. But that just comes with the territory. I also talk about holidays for a little bit because tomorrow in this video is the 4th of July and I have never really been super happy about holidays since my mom died and also I am not a big fan of fireworks. I then talk about my mental health a little.
