Salmon run on Lower River Mulkear, November 2016
Salmon running at Annacotty weir on the River Mulkear, Lower River Shannon SAC. Salmon are visible at this obstacle because they have difficulty passing it. There is a denil fish pass in the centre of the weir but many salmon cannot find this due to high turbulence. This video was taken on the 12th November 2016 using an iPhone 6s plus.
