Camino Frances September | October 2019 - Camino de Santiago in 32 days - female solo adventure

My name is Miriam and I am from Germany. I walked the Camino Frances from September 4th to October 5th 2019. I did not film as much or take as many pictures as I intended to, so I took the little material I had to try to tell my camino story. Unfortunately filming, taking pictures and editing is not one of my talents, but there are other videos to watch for that. This is just one little of many stories. It is impossible anyways to put this experience in pictures, because it so much more...all these little things...:) I started to walk the Camino de Santiago to work through some blocks I was experiencing in my life and I intended it to be a spiritual journey. I guess this is what happened in the end, but on the way I sometimes really struggled emotionally. In the end it was all worth it and the camino gave more than I ever imagined. When I got back the Camino hangover was real for me and I missed it a lot. I missed to be free, to walk, to be outside and having new experiences every day. But after the Camino is also before the Camino ;) I dedicate this video to Jacob, the baby boy of my friend Julia, who was born on September 19th 2019. Since he shares the same name, maybe he will be curious one day about st. James and the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela :) Have a happy day and buen Camino!
