The compact PLK pistol is the first compact Russian-made sidearm chambered for 9x19 mm cartridges. The pistol allows using the full range of 9x19 mm combat, sporting and other cartridges, including 7N21 high-power armor-piercing cartridges. The compact size of the PLK makes it easy for concealed carry. Ambidextrous controls (safety, slide stop and magazine release button) allow for efficient right- and left-handed operation.
