Inside One Of The World’s Biggest Illegal Gun Markets I travel deep into Northern Pakistan in search of one of the world’s most infamous illegal gun markets hidden inside the tribal regions near Peshawar. This was not a normal tourist experience. I entered these areas without a guide, without protection, and without truly knowing what to expect. The deeper I went into the tribal areas, the more intense the situation became. These regions are extremely sensitive, rarely visited by foreigners, and many locals are not used to outsiders filming their communities. At times, tensions were high and gaining trust was incredibly difficult. In order to continue filming safely, I had to build real connections with local people and slowly earn their respect before cameras were accepted. What many people around the world do not know is that Pakistan has a long history of local gun manufacturing, especially in certain tribal regions where weapons are crafted, traded, and sold through underground and black-market networks. Some of these weapons are handmade, while others are replicas of famous firearms from around the world. During this journey, I witnessed how deeply firearms are connected to daily life in some communities. In certain villages, locals openly test and fire weapons, while many families keep guns for protection due to ongoing security concerns and instability in remote areas. This experience showed me a side of Pakistan very few outsiders ever get to see — raw, complex, misunderstood, and filled with stories rarely shown in mainstream media. This video is not meant to glorify violence or illegal activity. The purpose of this documentary is to explore reality, understand different cultures and environments, and share authentic experiences from places most tourists never enter. Northern Pakistan completely surprised me. Beyond the tension and danger, I also met incredibly hospitable people who welcomed me into their world despite the risks and cultural differences.
