Naarden Vesting

Een van de mooiste vestingsteden van Nederland is wel de vesting Naarden. Zeer uitgebreid, rondom de gehele binnenstad en goed onderhouden. In de vesting ook het Vesting Museum. Daarnaast is de binnenstad zelf erg mooi en gezellig. Met het mooie weer zijn de terrassen goed gevuld. Eyecatchers in de binnenstad zijn natuurlijk de grote kerk van Naarden waar op goede vrijdag voor Pasen altijd de Matheus Passion wordt opgevoerd en de binnenhaven met het Arsenaal, waar tegenwoordig een waaier van bedrijven en restaurants is gevestigd. Naarden Vesting: altijd de moeite waard om te bezoeken, ook al ben je er meerdere malen geweest. Wij waren er op 4 mei 2023. Vandaar alle vlaggen, die halfstok hangen. One of the most beautiful fortified towns in the Netherlands is the Naarden fortress. Very extensive, around the entire city center and well maintained. Eye-catchers in the city center are of course the large church of Naarden, where the Matheus Passion is always performed on Good Friday before Easter, and the inner harbor with the Arsenaal, which nowadays houses a range of companies and restaurants. Naarden Vesting: always worth a visit, even if you have been there several times. We were there on May 4, 2023. Hence all flags, which hang at half-mast.
