Building a Skinner with a Sharpened Swedge for a Friend
Welcome back to The Knife Shed. In this episode, I’m building a custom skinner knife for my buddy Shane. This knife is made from 1095 high-carbon steel with leopardwood handle scales and brass pins. Shane wanted something a little different, so I added a sharpened swedge near the tip to help with skinning and field dressing. Follow along as this knife comes together in the shed, from rough steel to a finished working blade. Music by me. Thanks for stopping by. #knifemaking #customknife #1095steel #skinnerknife #handmadeknife #knives #knifebuild #workshop #theknifeshed #outdoors #bushcraft #bladesmith #customblades #knifecommunity
