@sominipescaeacampamento In this video, I faced another authentic adventure on the riverbank. We walked quite a bit into the woods to fish and started by catching piau (a type of small fish) in a bamboo weir. Then, we used the piau as live bait to try for the much-desired cachara (another type of fish). The walk was long, but it was worth it: we managed to catch cachara, even with the weather turning bad. On the way back, the rain intensified, and we had to set up camp late at night. I made a suspended camp, with an elevated platform, all improvised, to be able to sleep away from the dampness of the ground. A tough experience, just like authentic fishing is. The next day, I prepared a delicious meal, the kind that only those who live in the wilderness understand the value of.
