One Body, One Spirit
What happens when people from completely different backgrounds become one body in Christ? The early church brought together Jews and Gentiles—people with different histories, traditions, customs, and ways of understanding God. The challenge wasn't simply learning to get along. The challenge was learning what authority would define the church: tradition, culture, or the Word of God. In this live message, we'll explore how Jesus fulfilled the Law, why the same God of the Old Testament established the New Covenant, and what it means for believers today to submit every tradition to Christ. We'll look at the tension between inherited customs and apostolic truth, the righteousness that exceeds the Pharisees, and why Christ—not our traditions—is the foundation of the church. The church is where Christ reigns. Join us live as we explore what it means to become one body, united by one Lord, one faith, and one Word.
