The Word of God vs Traditions of Men

In Mark 7:1–13, Jesus confronts the Pharisees over washing rituals, eating customs, and the traditions of the elders. But the real issue is deeper than handwashing: it’s what happens when inherited religious practices become elevated to the same level as the Word of God. This message explores the difference between apostolic teaching and the traditions of men, external religion and inward transformation, and how the church is truly edified in Christ. The goal is not to reject the church, but to test every tradition by Christ, the Gospel, and the Word of God.
