BALIKAN: Kaso at mga huling sandali ni Flor Contemplacion | TV Patrol Throwback

Ginunita nitong Marso 2025 ang ika-30 na anibersaryo ng pagbitay sa Overseas Contract Worker (OCW) na si Flor Contemplacion, na naging simbolo ng sa maraming Pilipino sa ibang bansa na inaabuso at 'di nabibigyan ng sapat na hustisya. Binitay si Contemplacion sa Singapore matapos mahatulang may sala sa pagpatay sa kapwa OCW na si Della Maga at alaga nitong bata. Sa huli, hindi nagawa ng mga pahabol na testimoniya at pamamagitan ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas na matanggal si Contemplacion sa death row. Pinaigting ng kaso niya ang pakikibaka ng mga pilipino para sa karapatan ng mga OCW na ngayon ay tinatawag na Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW).
