LeelaKnightOdds’s Bird’s Opening Preys on Grandmaster in 25 Moves

Featured is a rapid chess game between LeelaKnightOdds and Grandmaster “Former_Player” on lichess. Leela plays the Bird’s Opening without a queen knight. The setup, sure to appeal to system players, aim to advance e4 and then e5. The Grandmaster plants a knight on e4, but Leela skillfully plays around it as if the piece does not even exist.
