My husband died at the age of 32. The following year, my younger brother committed suicide. My daughter fell into a coma when she was in fifth grade. (I've since recovered) My father passed away, estranged from me, his daughter, and my granddaughter. After years of estrangement with my mother, who suffers from developmental disabilities, I'm now living a peaceful and happy life, completely free of the conflicts of the past. [Rock Bottom Period] Continual grief and shock... Depression, depersonalization, various physical ailments, vague symptoms... My whole body was messed up, and my mental health was at its worst. I visited psychosomatic and psychiatric clinics and tried various medications. Perhaps the medication caused depersonalization. This triggered me to take anti-anxiety medication for about 18 years. I also took the sleeping pill Myslee. I tapered and then stopped taking them over the last three years of 2018. Diagnosis and surgery for brain tumor and cervical cancer. Ménière's disease caused by hearing loss in my right ear.
