Blaming tourists won’t clean Japanese bad manners

There's a myth that Japan is clean. It's not. Learn more here: Garbage is all over Japan. Why?    • Garbage is all over Japan. Why?   Japan parks filled with trash = Bad manners    • Japan parks filled with trash = Bad manners   There's so much garbage on the ground as I walk, it's hard to focus my thoughts in this video because I am constantly interrupted spotting more trash on the ground. This is a very wealthy neighborhood in a large city. There are no tourists on this street and no homeless people. It's all Japanese people littering and Japanese bad manners. Japan has had litter fine laws for years but they are not enforced. Japanese ignore existing laws so streets are dirty. Plans for enforcement do not exist UNLESS it’s at a place with LOTS of tourists, like Shibuya Tokyo. Now THAT’S a problem..... Tourists!! But most tourists in Shibuya are Japanese. And never mind that Japanese streets WITHOUT tourists are filthy with litter and garbage every day. If Japan can just find a consistent scapegoat, like foreigners, to distract Japan from its own problems, that frames Japan as superior, where they like to pretend to be. Hey….. how about blaming foreigners some more and for everything? If you are a Japan glazer spreading the urban legend that Japan is clean, you ultimately are not helping Japan progress forward to actually become clean. You are part of myth spreading problem for complacency and not real progress. You are keeping Japan undeservedly proud and arrogant while those of us living in Japan live amongst urban squalor and trash every day. But Japan thanks you for pumping them as the ideal society!! I've been to cities in Switzerland. They're spotless. Japan is no Switzerland. Not even close. But Japan is Switzerland in tourist mythology and in disconnected Japanese pride.
