Albin Kurti, the Prime Minister of Kosovo in conversation with the Master Roger Mosey. The invasion of Ukraine puts the spotlight on another area of Europe where conflict has been very recent: the Balkans, which were riven by civil war and ethnic cleansing after the collapse of Yugoslavia. The fear is that Russian aggression will once more destabilise the region. Kosovo has experienced some of the worst of the conflict, and it now wants to join the EU to cement its European identity – but a long and tortuous road lies ahead.
