Eine große Stadt ersteht - OrganFox - St. Johannes Enthauptung, Lohmar

Diesmal wieder ein klassisches Kirchenlied: „Eine große Stadt ersteht“ – GL 479, aufgenommen an der Klais-Orgel während einer Messe in St. Johannes Enthauptung in Lohmar. Und falls Ihr Euch fragt, warum ich bei der zweiten Strophe plötzlich so grinsen muss: Ein Teil der Gemeinde sang – wahrscheinlich auswendig – noch den alten Text „Gott heißt jeden Sohn und Kind“, während ein anderer Teil den neu gegenderten Text „Gott heißt Tochter, Sohn und Kind“ aus dem aktuellen Gotteslob sang. Für einen kurzen Moment wurden deshalb einfach beide Fassungen gleichzeitig gesungen. 😄 Solche lustigen und ungeplanten Momente gehören zu einer Live-Aufnahme aus dem Gottesdienst eben dazu. The recording was made on the Klais organ during Mass at St. Johannes Enthauptung in Lohmar, Germany. And if you are wondering why I suddenly start smiling during the second verse: part of the congregation was probably singing an older version of the lyrics from memory, while another part was following the revised wording printed in the current hymnal. For a brief moment, two different versions of the same line were sung at the same time. 😄 Funny and unexpected moments like this are simply part of a live recording during a church service.
