#109 Michał Jurek - "Gracz z Gór Suchych

He made his first runs in 2019, competing in numerous local events south of Wałbrzych: Waligóra Run Cross, Lesista Trzydziecha, and the Orzeł Mountain Half Marathon. The following year, he had a hunger for more and ran in the Błędnych Skały Half Marathon, the Złoty Maraton, and the 50km Ultra Kotlina. Michał was anointed an ultra runner the day a friend persuaded him to buy his first watch with a large battery. 2021 was a long time coming, with the BUGT, 100km Chojnik, and 140km Ultra Kotlina. And so Michał trained and gained experience until a few days ago, in poor weather and heavy mud, he won the Łemkowyna 150 with a time of 17 hours and 6 minutes. It looks like Michał will be competing hard against the best ultras next season; he's such a newbie. Listen up!
