It's a free service that matches owners who want to sell with people who want to buy. Fife's Empty Homes Matchmaker Scheme is now running alongside Scotland's national scheme, to give you more options. Our video shows just what’s possible when an empty home gets a new lease of life. Connor and Callum Clark were looking for a new project and were matched with a rundown property in Kirkcaldy that proved quite the challenge. But the brothers were able to meet that head on and transform it completely into a brand new home ready for new occupants. So, how does the scheme work? National Matchmaker Scheme: You now have the option of advertising your long-term empty property for sale on the National Matchmaker Scheme. Your property will be advertised online and available for all to see, so you will get more exposure. We will let our list of Fife Matchmaker Scheme buyers know when a Fife property is advertised on the National scheme. Find out more and upload your property via: emptyhomespartnership.scot/matchmaker/ Fife Matchmaker Scheme: We would encourage you to use the National Scheme. If you feel that you do not want to advertise online through this scheme, you can still register with the Fife Matchmaker Scheme only. When you register for this scheme, we create a short property profile of your empty home and share it with our list of buyers registered with the Fife Scheme.
