Route 80 commenced on 19th October along with the F-Spine changes, replacing routes 26 & 140. From today, Route 80 has been realigned to serve the full quays to Bachelors Walk, then turning at O'Connell Bridge, only D'Oiler Street and around College Green to Dame Street and onto Rathmines that way, returning via Dame Street and Westmorland Street and back onto the quays like how the 26 did previously. The original 80 routing consisted of using Bridge Street, High Street and Lord Edward Street before turning into George's Street. This deemed unpopular with passengers tus the NTA making the decision to change it (thankfully). Route's 23 & 24 have also been given a new City Centre routing that is more suitable. Onto AX621, it spent the majority of its life in Harristown but recently returned from storage to Conyngham Road. It's a great bus and thankfully will get used all day most days from here. This bus was serving Route 80 to Rathmines.
