"Fastest Chicken Breast Recipe for Busy Weeknights" Creamy Chicken & Pasta Dish - Paprika Chicken is Fast & Easy Today we are reaching back into our favorites for a dish me and Chris haven't had since 2018—Paprika Chicken! It is creamy, packed with flavor from fresh peppers and onions, and comes together so fast it’s perfect for a quick lunch or a busy weeknight dinner. We’re serving it over big, wide egg noodles just the way we like it. In this video, I’ll show you how to get that perfect sear on your chicken, how to make a homemade creamy gravy that won't separate, and why paprika is one of my absolute favorite spices to cook with! Cooking Tips from Tammy: The Sear: Keep your chicken pieces about the same size so they cook evenly in the skillet. The Creamy Secret: Whisk your sour cream, broth, flour, and paprika together well before adding it to the pan. Don't Burn the Garlic: Always add your garlic at the very end of sautéing your veggies so it doesn't get bitter! Low & Slow: When adding the cream mixture, turn your heat down to the lowest setting to keep it from separating. Pull up a chair and join us for a meal that tastes just like mama used to make! CHICKEN TENDERS 1 ONION, CHOPPED 1 RED PEPPER, CHOPPED 2 GARLIC CLOVES, DICED Mix together: 1/2 cup hot water with 1 1/2 TSP. CHICKEN BOUILLON GRANULES OR USE 1/2 CUP CHICKEN STOCK. Add: 1 CUP SOUR CREAM 1 TBSP. FLOUR 2 TBSP. PAPRIKA Mix well with a whisk and set aside. Brown chicken in oil about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Take out of skillet and set aside on a plate. Add onion and pepper to skillet and cook on low until soft. Then add garlic and the cream sauce. Cook until thickened. Add chicken back to cream mixture. Turn down on lowest setting to keep warm and cover it while making pasta. Make pasta (I used egg noodles) per package directions. Serve Chicken and paprika cream sauce over cooked noodles. Enjoy!
