How to change gearing on Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub // Vintage Bike Restoration

In this video I show how to change the rear cog (or sprocket) on a 1981 Sturmey Archer AW 3-speed hub. I’m changing it from the original 19 tooth sprocket to a 22 tooth sprocket so that the bike can cope better with the hills! This is the hub (dated 81 9 or September 1981) from my Hercules “Commuter” vintage bicycle.
