Pillar Elevators | Hotel Horison Kota Lama, Semarang, ID

Semarang elevator series starts now! Three generic elevators in the hotel where I stayed, very close to the old town of Semarang. The two elevators (aka the main ones) are typical 3rd generation Pillar with orange dot matrix displays and fake KONE KDS buttons. Interesting car light placement though, kinda reminds me of European OTIS elevators. The ceiling lights aren't on however. The side elevator appears to be a "transition" between 2nd and 3rd gen Pillar as it uses older buttons (Shanghai STEP) and chimes, but the dot matrix displays are the newer one albeit red. It replaced an older elevator, based on the fireman switch I can assume it was either a GoldStar or Hitachi. Google Street View imagery from 2015 shows part of the hotel where this elevator located was originally an older building (presumbaly an office) which later got acquired and converted into this hotel in 2016. This is why the elevator serves only four floors and is not a new install.
