Study until your drawings make you laugh. I think subconsciously I always believed that making characters laugh was the greatest expression of an illustrator truly mastering the technique and achieving maximum pleasure in creating their art. From an early age I sought this mastery, but after achieving it, at some point I became frustrated by the lack of characters and narratives where I could unleash my creativity as a comic book artist. Fortunately, the multiverse I'm developing is full of characters and stories with lots of laughs—even if many of them arise amidst or after many tears.
