I worked as a caregiver, care manager, and counselor at special nursing homes and day care centers for 10 years, and as a certified social worker at a community comprehensive support center, where I also provided consultation services and served as its director. I also teach dementia classes at elementary and junior high schools, give welfare-related lectures in the community, and other speaking engagements. I am also a certified instructor for Nana Yoshii's Adult Consideration Course. Personally, I hope that as many of my colleagues working in the welfare industry as possible will realize the noble work they are doing and that the welfare industry will become one they can be proud of, so I enjoy learning every day in order to disseminate information. There are people in the world who are not good at asking for help and are struggling with caregiving alone, young people who are unable to confide in anyone and end up shut up at home, and fellow welfare workers who entered the welfare industry with dreams and hopes but are losing motivation.
