Affecting 1 in 10 children, asthma is the most common chronic illness in young children. A far more complex disease than it seems, it sometimes persists despite appropriate treatment. How can you recognize asthma in a toddler? What factors can trigger attacks? Do emotions play a role? And does it improve with age? Joining us this morning to shed light on this topic are: Ève Piorowicz, a psychologist in private practice and at the Asthma School at Necker Hospital, where she helps parents and children better understand the disease in order to manage it more effectively.
