As we commemorate another anniversary of the coup that deposed Professor Juan Bosch in 1963, it is important to remember the main characteristics of his government and the role played by the United States and the oligarchy behind the overthrow. The whole story needs to be told, and I hope that someday someone will do it. Expectations regarding what Bosch would do were high. But there were very few resources to fulfill them.
